What a year it was. Google searches for "What Day of the Week is it " hit an all-time high on April 29th: an insight that says a lot about 2020.

But, as we look back on this past year, we have a reason to celebrate with satisfaction: we accomplished a lot here at Spacestor. And to reflect on everything our team has done this year, we have complied a plethora of our favourite memories and achievements that shaped our 2020.

Our Flagship New York Showroom was launched

After many months of collaboration with the creative design team at Gensler, we went public in early March, revealing an impactful, memorable destination with a sense of discovery. This is no ordinary furniture showroom, but a cutting-edge NYC Flagship Design Centre.

We hosted an open house party, as a sneak preview for Gensler team, prior to extending our welcome to the design, architectural and furniture community. Catch up on more details of the launch here!

Insights Live

We set up and launched our Thought-Leadership series, 'Insights live' and over the course of 19 different episodes, we've been educated, entertained and inspired by 35 speakers from global corporations such as Perkins + Will, The LEGO Group, Twillio Inc, Fidelity Investments, Knotel and many more. A massive thank you to all our speakers for sharing their expertise, and who drew over 4000 registrations, attracting watchers from over 30 different countries!

Technical Innovation

January saw another technological breakthrough, and we launched our industry-leading Customizer to CAD generator! Create your dream design in our customizer tool, and then download the exact drawing in DWG, 3dsMax,  Rhino 3D, SketchUp, an image and the exact description on a pdf. Not only this but we have launched multiple new product customizers throughout the year as well as updating all our Revit families!

Client Showcases

We're privileged to work with brands from all over the globe, and this year alone we released 45 different project case studies on our website from Dublin, to San Francisco and from Paris to Ontario. We want people to love their work environment and smile more while they’re doing it. After all, who wants to spend one-third of their life in a dreary cubicle? Product Development & Innovation

We released over 7 different products to the market- a record number! These were products that provided a solution to a pain point or needs that our clients had presented us with. From extensions to our Residences family to solutions like our Vista product, an extension of the Palisades line, but providing an aesthetic solution to the workplace's immediate needs, our product offering continues to grow. We were also privileged to have been selected to supply healthcare furniture to the UK’s National Health Service, NHS, temporary hospitals, to enable treatment of thousands of patients each day.

Also as a result of the global pandemic, we have dedicated some of our workforce to designing and creating specialist products to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. So far we have successfully adapted some of our factory to help with furniture for the NHS and now our R&D department have released a special new product - The Temperature Testing Pod.
