Cool Workspaces
Global beauty brand COTY have recently worked with iN STUDIO to design their new Toronto offices in Canada. Following a merger with P&G Speciality Beauty Business, Coty have now provided a fresh, new start for all of their teams, relocating from a low-rise property in the suburbs to a premium downtown space.
iN STUDIO have designed this office to be reminiscent of a high-end Parisienne apartment living room, steering away from the traditional corporate office colour palate and instead opting for a delicate balance of soft pastels and neutrals. Velvet and chandeliers provide soft touches throughout the space, an open ceiling maximises light flow and a damask film added to glass partitions provides an upscale texture to these stunning offices.
A bright reception welcomes visitors into Coty's offices, immediately showcasing the luxury aesthetic of the Coty brand, with features such as a crushed velvet ceiling and unique wall details. A large cafe provides an alternative environment for both clients and employees, doubling also as a collaborative work area, a space for socialising and quiet reflection. Inspired by a classic French bistro, the space features a mix of white marble tables and dark leather seating.
Coty looked to foster interaction between teams, and so opted for a completely open floor plan to suit all working requirements with a variety of workstations for all employees. Custom grey tables and overstuffed armchairs serve as collaboration zones between workstations and the workspace also features a retail showroom designed for mocking up store displays. Doubling as an additional meeting room, a fragrance room also showcases the brand's full range of perfumes.
Also designing Coty's Montreal office and Wella Studio, iN STUDIO specializes in creating one-of-a-kind workplace solutions, bringing brands to life within their space.
