Infinite Possibilities: A Wrap Up of Clerkenwell Design Week 2024
Clerkenwell Design Week 2024 was a resplendent celebration of art, design, and innovation, drawing together the best and brightest from the world of design. Amidst the historic streets of Clerkenwell, where heritage charm meets new and contemporary, Spacestor were excited to throw open their doors, welcoming visitors to experience 'Infinite Possibilities'.
Despite the rain, Spacestor’s London Design Centre was abuzz with energy and innovation as hundreds of designers, architects, workplace professionals, and furniture dealers flowed through and stopped to enjoy the atmosphere of our newly revamped space.
This year, we launched two new products on the Tuesday: Portals Studio and Valet. The latest addition to our Portals range, Portals Studio is an adaptable pod designed for single-focused tasks or small group meetings. It's inclusively designed to accommodate a wheelchair turning circle and comes as a blank canvas to be furnished for which ever use case is required. Created in collaboration with Gensler as product design consultants, our second product launched, Valet, encourages users to engage with their space through a suite of organizational tools that can be attached to the surface of our products or on other walls within the workplace.
In two Insights Live sessions, hosted in-person at the Design Centre over CDW, we welcomed workplace professionals and experts in the industry including Gensler, MCM, CBRE and BNP Paribas. These sessions provided a platform for conversations around designing for simplicity, employee experience, sustainability, and longevity. For those who missed the sessions, you can rewatch these insightful panels here.
Deeper into Clerkenwell, the design week offered an immersive experience in the House of Detention, which was transformed, offering a journey through old prison cells lit up with mesmerizing lights installations. Old Sessions House, a hub for socializing and networking, housed a café and lounge areas, beautifully setting of the rustic charm of the building and stunning staircase.
Presenting ‘Infinite Possibilities’, Spacestor shows products that don’t scream ‘furniture’; but are instead designed seamlessly to become an extension of the brand, enhancing the overall workspace, whilst staying modular to ensure future flexibility. In a game of “Spot the Spacestor Product”, each piece becomes a quality, flexible and aesthetically beautiful cog in the design machine. Our fresh layout and newly featured products are here to stay for a while in the London Design Centre so if you didn’t make it at Clerkenwell Design Week, be sure to reach out here and book in a visit!
