AHDB
A colourful mix of lockers, recycle points and innovative storage for AHDB's new 30,000sqft building in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
A colourful mix of lockers, recycle points, coats and general storage for AHDB’s new 30,000sqft building in Stoneleigh park, Warwickshire. 3 buildings, 6 divisions and 325 staff – for the first time all employees and facilities of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board are brought together under one roof in a new £5 million state-of-the-art-building. Sited on the 800acre Stoneleigh Park Estate, the new 2-story building encompasses an unique agricultural themed interior designed by Consarc.
Each of the 4 wings is colour themed on a season to reflect the weather dependence of the sectors served by AHDB and the design required the lockers, recycle points, coats and general storage to be tailored to match this.
Consarc had already started discussions with Spacestor in early 2014, and after attending our London showroom during Clerkenwell Design Week, they were confirmed by Spacestor having the product flexibility and approach needed to deliver their storage concept.
Spacestor were delighted to work with contractors, Overbury Birmingham to deliver the project in what subsequently became an extremely challenging installation schedule (276 units in 10 days!) Spacestor took the decision to run 2 separately managed large teams – 1 for each floor, thereby still completing on time to the client’s full satisfaction.
