The recent Spacestor Summit 2023, hosted in our London Design Centre, was a prestigious, insightful event exploring the outlook of the geopolitical and economic forecast of 2024 as well as a deep dive into getting the best from your team and creating a solid strategy for the upcoming year.
The keynote speakers included Dr David Skilling, Director of Landfall Strategy Group, an advisory firm that provides insights on global economic and geopolitical dynamics to governments, firms, and financial institutions. His expertise is founded upon previous experience working for McKinsey & Company in Singapore and past senior roles in the New Zealand Government.
Guests were guided through a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of the implications the economic outlook for 2024 has for UK commercial real estate and the workplace industry. Mapping key developments and offering a glimpse into the intricate web of factors which will influence the next few years. The importance of change, agile policies and quick, informed decision making was stressed, with an emphasis on the potential the current market and economic scene holds.
We were glad to welcome our second key-note speaker, ActionCOACH Global Coach of the Year 2023, Peter Boolkah. The motivational coach, who started his journey in the McDonalds’ kitchen, became a successful entrepreneur, and now has dedicated his career to helping and inspiring others, gave specialist business advice to guests to set them up to thrive in 2024. His key points fixated around three crucial pillars: Marketing, People and Strategy.
Covering off the most up-to-date marketing methods and techniques, opening on how to master these for optimal success. Guests also learnt tips for ensuring their team is made up of the right people and on how to secure confidence and the best out of each member. From clear goal setting to solid strategic planning and preparation for the year ahead, visitors were impressed with the importance of direction, communication and transparency for successful action and results.
The location of the event, Spacestor’s London Design Centre was the perfect backdrop for a day packed with instructive content, only enhanced by the hospitality of the hosts and the immersive but peaceful ambience. An event valued and enjoyed by all for its directive advice, enjoyable atmosphere, and expert speakers!
