Workspace of the Week - Etsy
Sustainable, creative and friendly, Etsy’s Brooklyn-based office space has been designed to promote a healthy and happy working environment for its employees.
Not only is this fantastic space decorated with large plants which are watered with rainwater collected from the roof, reclaimed wood floors and beautifully crafted handmade furniture to promote sustainability, It also allows employees to work free and remotely around the workspace with the addition of an outdoor courtyard and a rooftop lounge with views of Manhattan.
With a variety of seating areas and lounges, Etsy has created a stunning communal workspace bringing its employees together and become more sociable in the workplace.
The building also boasts inspiring and bold art, large windows that allow natural light, solar panels on the roof that powers 1% of the building and a dog-friendly policy too.
We love how employees are also encouraged to attend yoga classes every week, enjoy craft nights and workshops and are able to store their bikes in a large storage room provided by Etsy to encourage them to take a carbon neutral commute to work.
These thoughtful details and healthy activities Etsy have used really show how the company not only cares about the environment they are in but also the people who are working and living in it too, which is why this fantastic office is our Workspace of the Week.
Take a look the bright and open Etsy workspace.
