In this year’s A Mindful Space at CDW, we explored the key trends of authenticity and individuality - bringing familiarity into the showroom and creating a space that connects with the desire of today’s workforce for places of their own. We did this by focusing on what brings personality into a space - making small updates to accessories and finishes, fostering a homely and nostalgic atmosphere by harmonising the imperfections of handmade ceramics with the luxury of brass and velvet. We wanted visitors to think about how they feel most at home at work and inspire them to create just that space - with the help of the breadth and customizability of our range.
So what was new at Spacestor for CDW? We showcased our hugely flexible, evergrowing Palisades II range in a ‘Palisades room’, updated the design of both the Railway Carriage and Residence pods, kept concept products the Coleman bookcase and the Vista crittal style pivot screen for creative zone division, welcomed the Ellie Pro swivel chair and Chic barstool to our seating range, and presented Palisades Luxe.
Very successful for us was the Miniatures Lab that we set up with the aid of in-house 3D printing. Our team created miniatures of all our key products and our Workspace Concept experts used these to aid conversation with visitors around the concept of architecture within architecture - dividing space in a flexible fashion using furniture. Overall this was extremely well received and has inspired us to further explore the potential of 3D printing in workspace design.
Stay connected via Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn for the official launches of our new and concept products, expected throughout the rest of this year.
